Because of his background and experience both inside the Court system, as a Law Assistant to the Justices of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Second Judicial Department, and as an active litigator in the Federal and State Courts of New York State, Mr. Sutton brings a unique insight to the litigation matters that he handles.  He is able to think and analyze matters, and to see them as a Judge would, and so can offer that perspective to clients. 

His goal is not to prolong your litigation unnecessarily, and always keeps his eye focused on the right goal from the client's vantage point-- resolving your matter successfully and economically, not prolonging litigation and escalating fees.

In addition, since he has background and experience both as a litigator and as a transactional lawyer, in transactional work, Mr. Sutton is able to see the potential litigation risks in any transaction and to carefully steer his clients away from those problems.  Few attorneys have this blend of litigation and transactional skills.

With his large firm background, Mr. Sutton can do battle, if need be, with the largest firms, on the trial and appellate levels.  And with his small firm attitude and approach, he can and will give you the personal attention and care that you will not get at many larger firms if you do not have millions of dollars of business.
